Massive! Beautiful park with a lot of wild life. Went out twice every day and each time doing the loop twice. You see something different every time. There are a lot of short hikes and pull overs that are worth seeing.

Beautiful and unique park- perhaps one of my favorites. Definitely take time for the loop drive and spend some quality time at the Prairie Dog villages. The visitor's center itself is a must- plenty of information on the park and it's hikes.
We saw more animals in one day doing the loop drive of the south end of Theodore Roosevelt National Park than we've seen all together driving throughout Alaska and Canada for months. Bison (including babies), turkeys, pheasant, prairie dogs, wild horses, and lots of birds. Great vistas and several short hikes to breath-taking views.
