Enjoyed 4 nights here with an RV and tent, very peaceful and laid back! Loved all the nature sounds - lots of birds, turkeys, rooster in the distance, horses and cattle. Being off the beaten path and out of town made it more unique and a beautiful drive to get to. The river, though shallow at this time of year, was enjoyed by the kids. Will definitely stay here again!
If you are looking for a great place to ride your horse this is the place. My friend and I spent a week here in July and had a blast. lots of amazing trails and the host was fun and made sure that we had a good time.
Good price. Lots of trails.
I wish it was more organized such as knowing who's running it, eventually found them the second day. Wish power to campers was more spread out and had areas marked better. These things were all minor
So over all I would go again with a tent or camper but it does have pro's and con's
The things that were most disliked was the manure piles some RV/tent spits were close to these areas most spots were far enough away but would suck to end up in one of those spots unless I suppose you like it for convince of cleaning out a pen maybe? The second thing disliked most was the buildings you can pay to spend a few nights in ( note: I didn't see inside all of them) the ones I was inside I didn't care for it was fun down would rather just use a tent or camper. There was a new looking log cabin not sure if they rent that out but that one looked like something at least from the outside.
To me my 3 stars is an average rating could be better could be worse. They could make the place amazing if they really wanted to either way this is what I'm giving it
Heaven on earth
It has it's pro's and con's
Now! What I liked the water for watering horses was pretty convenient! If your looking for a nice place for riding horses this is the place! Some of the trails have nice views (One over looking golf course) all of them were fun I personally liked the trails without the cliffs. I also enjoyed taking horses through the stream and relaxing in it a bit. They have chickens, guineas, donkeys and cows around I enjoyed that also liked the trees.
